I have loved this community from the moment I moved here in 2006.  The spirit of this community is very contagious and became involved in many ways.Throughout the years we have lived in Lovejoy, Alysia and Marvin Bobo have been a constant presence in our community. They are always giving to make our community better. having three boys, one that has graduated from Lovejoy, one just starting HS and one in elementary school, the Bobo’s have a better understanding of the past, present and future of Lovejoy than anyone in this community. Marvin and Alysia have  a generous heart full of grace.  I have treasured my time serving with Marvin and Alysia over the years and they are some of the easiest people to talk with. I love that I can always  have honest conversations with them about what is happening in our community and they are respectful of everyone. We all sought out Lovejoy for its amazing reputation and small town feel.  As we continue to grow, I know Marvin will be able to guide the district into the future to continue the educational excellence and help to maintain the close-knit community we all cherish.  I proudly support Marvin Bobo for LISD school board for his integrity, compassion, knowledge of the district, and the expertise he will bring from his professional background.
